7/19/07 -- BUCKS TO HOST CENTRAL CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS
Rochester, MI (July 19, 2007) -- The United Soccer Leagues announced that the Great Lakes Division and reigning PDL Champion Michigan Bucks will host the Central Conference Final Four to be held Friday and Saturday July 27 and July 28. Times and venue will be announced on Friday, July 20. The Bucks and second place finisher Chicago Fire Premier will take on the first and second place clubs (to be determined this weekend) from the Heartland Division. Ticket prices for the games on both Friday and Saturday’s matches will be the same as the Bucks regular season, $10 for Adults (16 and over) and $5 Youth (under 5 free). The Bucks will be offering a presale playoff pass that must be purchased online or at the Bucks home game on Friday, July 20 that will allow all fans enjoy both games on Friday night (5:30 and 8:00 PM) AND the Conference Final on Saturday (7:30 PM kick off) for ONLY $11 Adult and $6 Youth. The two dates for the price of one pass will be available online at the Bucks web site Friday July 20th. These playoff passes will not be for sale on game day and must be purchased prior to Friday, July 27th.
Playoff passes will be available when the first place Bucks (10-1-3) play their last regular season home game in Detroit Friday at Rochester High School (7:00 PM kick off) against the Toronto Lynx. The Bucks have defeated the Lynx both times the teams have met this season by the scores of 2-1 in Toronto and 4-1 in Saline. Tickets are $10 Adult and $5 Youth and available at the gate. The 2006 North American Champions will then close out the regular season with a “home” game at Crew Stadium in Columbus as part of an MLS double header this Sunday. The Bucks take on the Ft. Wayne Fever (1:00 kick off) followed by the Crew and Toronto FC (5:00). Tickets for this doubleheader are also available on the Bucks web site, along with tickets to see David Beckham’s only appearance in Columbus this year on September 30th.
