7/18/07 -- BUCKS' UZOIGWE NAMED PDL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tampa, FL (July 18, 2007) -- United Soccer Leagues announced Wednesday that Bucks striker Kenny Uzoigwe has been named the Premier Development League Player of the Week for Week 13 after his performance in last Saturday’s 7-1 rout of the West Michigan Edge. In the match, Uzoigwe was part of all five goals scored while he was in the game, finishing 3 and assisting on 2 more before being subbed out in the 69th minute. For his effort, Uzoigwe who is tied for 2nd in the league for both goals and points, was also named to the PDL Team of the Week.
The striker from Toledo, Ohio joins Nate Jafta as the second Buck this season to be named PDL player of the week. Jafta took home the honor in Week 3
