Rochester, MI (July 2, 2007) -- The 2006 Premier Development League (PDL) North American Champion Michigan Bucks have announced ticket information on their upcoming “home” game on Sunday, July 22 at Columbus Crew Stadium against the Ft. Wayne Fever (1:00 kickoff). As part of the Bucks/Crew relationship, the Bucks have acquired 100 sets of tickets for the Bucks/Fever game, followed by the MLS doubleheader between the Columbus Crew and Toronto FC. In addition, the special package the Bucks have for sale immediately also includes a ticket for David Beckham’s only scheduled game in Columbus this year when the LA Galaxy visit Columbus on September 30. Individual tickets for the Beckham game are NOT available through the Crew, as there are only several hundred unsold tickets (which are only available through ticket packages).
The tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis with priority going to those who sign up for the Bus package (which will leave from the Detroit area on the morning of Sunday, July 22 and return after the MLS game). All ticket packages include the Bucks Ultimate Tailgate party in the Crew VIP tent between matches. In addition to food and beverage, the Bucks will be giving away autographed merchandise, tickets, etc and an autograph session will be available for the kids.
The following packages are available:
Ultimate Bus Trip: includes a round trip bus ticket to and from the Detroit area on July 22, the Ultimate Tailgate Party, sideline ticket to both matches AND a sideline ticket to the Beckham game on September 30: PRICE $98 per person. The bus package is limited to the first 47 passengers that sign up and pay for their package.
Triple Header Package: includes sideline tickets to the double header on July 22 and the Ultimate Tailgate Party AND a sideline ticket to the Beckham game on September 30. PRICE $72 per person.
JULY 22 Double Header: includes individual tickets to the July 22 double header and the Ultimate Tailgate Party. PRICE $39 per person.
Please visit the Bucks website and click on the Crew/Beckham ticket link to fill out the order form. Orders can be faxed to 1-231-882-7985 or e-mailed to gm@buckssoccer.com. All orders will be processed as of the time and date the fax or e-mail is received at headquarters. If we do not get 47 people to use the bus service by Monday, July 9, the Bucks will contact the Ultimate Bus trip customers and give them the option of either choosing the Triple Header package (and driving themselves to the game) or canceling the order. All Ultimate Bus Trip orders will either be confirmed, revised or cancelled by Wednesday, July 11. In the event that there is not sufficient interest in using the bus service, it will still allow all fans ten days to make alternative plans.
