FAMILIAR FACES RETURN TO BUCKS THIS SUNDAY
Discounted Tickets to all fans in Bucks or Wings gear

Pontiac, MI (May 29, 2009) - For those Michigan Bucks fans of the past 14 seasons who come to see the Bucks play Toronto on Sunday night, it may look like a family reunion. Fans that come dressed in Michigan Bucks or Detroit Red Wing attire, will receive tickets for prices dating back as old as some of the players. Returning to the Bucks lineup this Sunday will be crowd favorite defender Kyle Russell (S. Elgin, IL/ Coastal Carolina), who helped lead the Bucks defense the past two seasons to a National Championship runner up and last year’s PDL Regular Season Championship.

Russell (pictured right) rejoins a 2008 returning cast of defender Dave Hertel (Holland, MI/MSU), Nate Jafta (South Africa/Lindsey Wilson), Steve Clark (Mason, MI/Oakland), Kenny Uzoigwe (Toledo), Mauro Fuzetti (Houston, TX/UM), Jake Stacy (Grand Rapids/UM) and Piotr Nowak (Sterling Hts, MI/Oakland). All of whom have either deep rooted soccer backgrounds in Michigan or have played here with the Bucks for at least three seasons.

Adding to these fine players are quality local products who are quickly making an impact in the PDL this summer; PDL Team of the Week selection Julian Robles (Los Angeles, CA/UM), Spencer Thompson (Shelby Twp., MI/MSU), Stefan St. Louis (Trinidad/Oakland), Tommy Catalano (Shelby Twp., MI/ Oakland), Machel James (Trinidad/Oakland) and Sebby Harris (Lake Orion, MI/Oakland).

The long time Bucks fans who have already felt the impact from the return of Kevin Taylor (Miami, FL/UM) from Major League Soccer and the USL First Division professional ranks will get to welcome back former Bucks star and MLS forward from the Columbus Crew, Knox Cameron (Bronx, NY/ UM). KT and Knox played together with the Bucks from 2002-2005 before graduating from Michigan and moving on to professional soccer. Both have migrated back to Michigan to work and play for the Bucks this summer and have the same goal in mind.

“It is good to be back with this great organization,” said Cameron from Thursday's training session. “Since I retired from the Crew a couple of seasons ago and went into the working world, I still had the passion and desire to play high level, competitive soccer. This is a great group of young talent the Bucks have assembled this year. My job is to help them understand what it takes to get to the highest level of soccer in this country and it all starts here with the Bucks this summer.”

Taylor turned down offers to return to the USL First Division professional ranks, where he has made a living the past three seasons.

“I wanted to pursue further education opportunities in Ann Arbor so the ability to go to school and play for the Bucks was the best of both worlds. I know the level of commitment it takes to play on this team and my job is to lead the younger guys and help make them better players when they leave then when we got together on May 1. I love this organization and what they do for the young players. I have played for professional teams that don’t treat their guys anywhere near as well as the Bucks ownership does. It’s good to be appreciated and it motivates us all to want to win every time we step on the field.”

The Bucks (2-1-1) look for their third win in a row on Sunday night when the Toronto Lynx come to Ultimate Soccer Arenas (7:30 kickoff). With the Red Wings playing on Sunday night as well, the Bucks have taken the opportunity to celebrate both teams from Detroit, who exemplify a winning tradition
in their respective leagues.

Bucks President Kyle Karns has announced today that all fans coming to Sunday’s game wearing either a Bucks or Red Wings shirt will get in for just $5. Tickets for Bucks games are normally $10 Adults and $6 Youth (under 16), so adults will get a $5 discount and each youth ticket will be a $2 discount. Children 5 and under are always free to Bucks home games. Ultimate Soccer Arenas will have all 12 big screen HD TV’s on the Wings' Game Two of the Stanley Cup Finals during and after the Bucks game on Sunday night. The largest indoor soccer facility in North America also houses a full service restaurant (World Cup Grill) and a sports bar (Upper 90 Pub), which are all open before, during and after all Bucks games.
